Dye Sublimation – DyeTrans Shot Glass and Ceramic Mug

In this video we show you how to sublimate a DyeTrans Ceramic Mug and Ceramic Shot Glass using a DyeWrap and an oven. We use SubliJet-R sublimation ink transfer and a Cuisinart toaster oven. Immersing a hot mug in water will likely microfracture the glaze. The cracks will widen over time and? be susceptible to staining by coffee and the handle may come off.

Thanks for this information. It is certainly food for thought. We’ve been dunking our mugs since the beginning and haven’t seen any problems. Doesn’t means? it’s not happening…just haven’t had any reports.

where can you get those wraps that suit latte mugs and shot glasses?? the ones i’ve seen only seem to suit the regular straight mugs.

Great Video… My Name is Augusto and I am triying to start myself in this wolderfull Art to sublimate coffe mugs…. I have a question… if a Print a image in a sublimation paper with my regular HP DESKJET 3915 printer with regular ink, it will work??? I mean it will tansfer? the image to the coffe mug?????
I really will appreciate your answer..!!!!

I use Epson T13 with sublimation ink tank modification, when i print pictures? color not sharp? .. a little blurry … not like the print on the video above … I use Corel software design ..

@andri2684 The resolution? that you have on your photos must be 200+dpi.
